FAQ

What are your Payment Options and Policies?

-I accept credit and debit cards, and Pay Pal.
-If payment is not received within 3 business days after ordering, the order will be cancelled.
-Payment must clear before custom items are made.
-All custom orders or customizable items must be paid for up front upon order before the items are made. For large orders a deposit of at least half of the final total must be paid at time of order.

What are your domestic shipping policies?

-I ship through the United States Post Office. Most items are made to order, and it will take 4-8 weeks to make and ship. Larger orders, as well as international orders, will take longer for making and shipping. If you would like us to ship your item via Fed EX or UPS please let us know before purchase so we can adjust the shipping rates.


-Shipping is calculated at checkout. Extra charges for shipping and handling may apply.

-Insurance is a wonderful thing! If you would like insurance, please request it upon purchase so the shipping cost can be adjusted.

-If you would like to pay extra shipping costs for Priority mail (tracking + delivery confirmation or insurance) for safer delivery, please let me know before purchase so that we can add the extra shipping cost to the item.


-I am not responsible for items that are lost or damaged during transit without insurance. However, if something does happen (i.e.: the item is damaged, or does not arrive), please let me know and we will try to work something out.

What are your international shipping policies?

-Goods will be shipped USPS First-Class International. If you would like us to ship your item via Fed EX or UPS please let us know before purchase so we can adjust the shipping rates.


-There is no tracking or delivery confirmation available for First Class.

***Once the package is shipped, we are not accountable for lost packages.***


-If you would like to pay extra shipping fees for Priority mail (tracking + delivery confirmation or insurance) for safer delivery, please let us know before purchase so that we can add the extra shipping cost to the item.

International orders are not exchangeable/returnable. If there is a problem with your order, please contact me and we can work to resolve it.

What are your policies on returns and exchanges?

- Hopefully you will be satisfied with the items that your order. But if you are unsatisfied, please contact me before leaving feedback. We may be able to fix the problem.
-I will except refunds or exchanges on damaged or mistaken items. (Exceptions Listed Below.) Please contact me within one week of delivery. We will send you a return label via email for you to send the item(s) back. These items must be postmarked for return within two weeks of receipt. I will not issue a refund until the item has been received in purchase condition and in the original packaging.

What Clays do you use?

-I use Standard Clay’s mid-fire (Cone 6) porcelain and white stoneware for all of my floral pieces, and Standard Clay’s mid-fire chocolate and hazelnut brown stoneware clay and white stoneware for the lace plates.

On your plates, why do you use certain glazes with certain clays and not others?

-Some glazes look aesthetically better on lighter clays or darker clay respectively.  Light Translucent glazes work best on light or white clays, such as the celadons and oribes. They get into the nooks and crannies of the indentations, giving them a deeper color while highlighting the high points of the white clay. More opaque glazes, such as the white, break well over the edges of the plates and impressed patterns. At high points, the glazes will break reveling the dark clay underneath and covering the rest of the pattern in a bright opaque glaze.

Are your items food safe?

Yes, my items are food safe. Once the items are glaze fired, they are safe for food. The clay is fire to a temperature where it’s no longer porous, so there’s no harm in putting water or liquid type foods into the pieces.

Are your pieces Oven, Microwave, and Dishwasher safe?

All of the pieces are microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe (Washed in the top rack only). Also pieces should not be placed on a campfire or open flames because this could cause cracking.

Do you take custom orders?

Yes I do!

-I will make custom orders and items for customers. If you like an item, but would prefer a different color, size, or would like the item personalized with a particular flower or lace, I can arrange the custom order. ***Keep in mind that depending on your changes, the price of items may increase or decrease. ***Also keep in mind that these items are made to order, so it will delay the shipping time and may increase shipping costs. I will contact you when your items are ready to ship.

Anything else?

-Most items are made to order, Please keep in mind that each item is hand-made. There may be imperfections or slight differences that are attributed to their hand made quality. Please allow 4-8 weeks for construction and shipping; longer fro large or international orders.

-I try to make the colors in the photographs match the true colors of the item. But, cameras and computer monitors can impart certain tints to the pictures, so if you have ANY questions about items please do not hesitate to ask.


-Most floral items are one of a kind. However, if you are interested in multiples of an item, please contact me and we can arrange something. **Items may not be exactly the same as in the pictures, since each is handmade**.

-For larger orders of some items we can arrange a wholesale price. For custom orders, especially larger quantities; please allow 4-8 weeks for making and fulfillment Please keep in mind that I most likely will have to make these items after you order, so it will delay the shipping time and may increase shipping costs. We will contact you with a quote on multiple order shipping prices. You will also be contacted when your multiples are completed and ready to ship.
